Introduction to First Unitarian Universalist Church of Indiana

First Unitarian Universalist Church is an active and friendly Unitarian Universalist congregation in Indiana, Pennsylvania.  Like all of the best UU churches, we are made up of people who take both a rational and active approach to our faith.  We are a congregation of people who seek the truth, strive for a better world and commit ourselves to living thoughtfully.

You are invited to join us Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. for our Sunday Service.  In addition to a stimulating sermon or a special program, you will find:

•  a religious education program for children;

•  child care for tiny ones;

•  after service refreshments and conversation to give you an opportunity to know us.

Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion with Judeo-Christian roots.  It has no creed.  It affirms the worth of human beings, advocates freedom of belief, the search for advancing truth, and tries to provide an open, supportive community for people who believe that ethical living is the supreme witness of religion.  Membership is open to anyone who is attracted to this philosophical approach.  You are invited to come to our church and speak with our minister, or you can contact her for an appointment via phone at 724.349.2776 or email at joansab@comcast.net
