Where are we?
The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Indiana is located in the town of Indiana, PA, about an hour east of Pittsburgh.   Indiana (population around 30,000) is the home of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (enrollment of about 14,000 students) and is also known as the hometown of film actor Jimmy Stewart.

The church is at 285 Twolick Drive. To find us, just follow Philadelphia Street east, out of downtown, and stay straight onto East Pike do  not take the bend north to 286). Twolick Drive is about 1/4 mile ahead on the right (just past the Church of Christ). Follow Twolick Drive to the top of the hill, and FUUCI will be on the left.

Who Are We?
We are a congregation of approximately 70 adults and 20 youth, who have gathered to worship together and search for truth.  Our congregation started as a fellowship in 1958 and has a proud history of activism in the Indiana area, including but not limited to participation in the Civil Rights movement, environmental issues (such as helping to stop the logging of White's Woods), and the struggle for social justice (e.g., LGBT issues).  We come from a variety of religious backgrounds: Christian, Pagan, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, and Atheist.

Stained Glass Window
Our beautiful stained-glass window was created by our own Sue Litteral, who makes a variety of new age crafts for sale from her home. She can be reached at 724.349.4039.
